Scheduling

IKON Construction takes a highly integrated approach in the development, application and maintenance of the master project schedule. This schedule becomes the universal tool for team collaboration, essential in executing a successful sequence of work and coordinating the dynamic set of activities that will take place among suppliers, subcontractors and other collaborators in order to deliver a project on time, on budget, and with a high level of quality.

The project's master schedule is developed during the design phase as a baseline for the establishing and monitoring the intricate sequence of activities that must take place with precision, throughout the course of the project.  IKON utilizes state-of-the-art scheduling software in order to accomplish scheduling tasks in a regular and timely manner.

As the project moves from design into construction, the master schedule is further refined to reflect input from suppliers, subcontractors and the project's field management team to provide additional detail and guidance. Throughout the course of construction, IKON's scheduling team updates the document, benchmarking incremental progress and making regular progress reports to the owner/client. In addition, the updated schedule is used by the project's field management team as a dynamic tool to help ensure effective communication with, and monitoring of, suppliers and subcontractors.
