IKON Construction can provide consultative construction management services either as an at-risk general contractor, or as an agent of the owner or client. In this role, IKON typically provides comprehensive pre-construction planning services, advising both the owner/client and others on the project team in the areas of cost, logistics, and technical viability. In addition, IKON brings value to the project by developing strategies to help assure competitive procurement and timely completion. Once the project is under construction, IKON's on-site operations team will actively monitor, manage and coordinate the progress of work, pro-actively engaging with others on the project team and reporting to the owner or client on the status of cost, schedule, safety and quality.

This consultative approach has rapidly become the preferred form of project delivery, in large measure due to the benefits obtained by the owner or client from having the consultant serving in a fiduciary position, representing the client's interests. Effective consultative construction management creates a balanced system, helping assure that the owner/client's financial, programmatic, scheduling and quality objectives are accurately and efficiently represented to every participant in the project, resulting in a superior project outcome.
